Driving Directions & Parking Instructions

Gomez Mill House is located on Mill House Road in the town of Marlborough. The Mill House sits on the border of Orange and Ulster Counties. Mill House is 5.2 miles north of the junction of Route 9W and I84 (Newburgh/Beacon Bridge) and ten miles south of the junction of Routes 44/55 (Poughkeepsie Bridge). Parking Instructions

8/15/2018 - PLEASE NOTE: Path to House from Parking Lot is CLOSED due to severe erosion and repairs. Please walk back along parking lot driveway then down the right side of Mill House Rd until you reach the walkway beside the bridge's guard rail.

General Parking Area - Located on Mill House Road near orchard

From Route 9W
Drive past the House, up the hill. Turn right into driveway marked by signs. Enter through wooden rail fence. Follow path to circle. Park facing the designated small hill.

From Old Post Rd
Turn left into driveway marked by signs. Enter through wooden rail fence. Follow path to circle. Park facing the designated small hill.

Passenger Drop-off *ONLY*

Enter House driveway at bottom of hill next to stone wall and bridge. Stay to the right at the top. Circle the mound. Drop off passengers near side of House. Turn left onto Mill House Road. Go to general parking area at top of hill.

When passing Mill Creek Golf Course, slow down after blue and brown Gomez Mill House Museum sign. Make the next right onto Mill House Road. From NYC Metro Area

West Side Highway to George Washington Bridge upper level to Exit 74. Palisades Parkway North to Exit 9W. I-87 North to Exit 17 at Newburgh. I-84 East to Exit 10. Left on Route 9W. From Northwestern Westchester
Local roads to Bear Mtn Bridge. 9w North to River Rd in Newburgh. Return to 9W. North 5 miles on 9W. When passing Mill Creek Golf Course, slow down after blue and brown Gomez Mill House Museum sign. From White Plains Area

I-287 to Tappan Zee Bridge. I-87 North to Exit 17 at Newburgh. I-84 East to Exit 10. Left on Route 9W North. Taconic Pkwy or I-684 to I-84 West. Just after the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, take Exit 10N to Route 9W North.

From New Jersey

From Danbury, CT Area

There is no direct public transportation to the Gomez Mill House. Public transportation will require you take a taxi to the Gomez Mill House after your arrival in either Beacon via Metro North, or Newburgh via Short Line Bus.
